My first Meguiar’s Scratch X 2.0 Review I read sounded too good to be true and I decided to read a few more customer reviews regarding this new scratch removal product. This product claims safely to remove blemishes, swirls and light scratches and scrapes, which I was willing to test out for myself. I have used the Meguiar’s products for some time already and I have always been reasonable happy with them. Their Scratch X product is definitely not an abrasive polish, but rather a glaze that has fine polishing properties.
Only because I knew the Meguiar’s product range and after reading enough reviews from past users of the product, I decided to order the meguiars scratch remover product. I had two cars at home that needed urgent attention and I got right to work on some of the finer scratches and blemishes that were visible on both of the vehicles. I always use a microfiber cloth (the video below uses a plain cotton t-shirt, but microfiber will work better) when using the scratch remover products, because anything else often causes more scratches than you are actually trying to remove. When using the product on any scratches I try to rub against the direction of the scratches, and across them as well in a circular motion. Whenever the cloth feels dry, I add some more of the product immediately, but I never rub with a dry cloth until the product has done it’s job.

My initial experience with using the meguiars scratch remover was that it easily removes the very fine scratches and blemishes, but the moment when I moved onto the deeper scratches, I found it impossible to completely remove the blemish or scratch. What I have found though is that if you know how to use the product, you will be able to conceal and minimize the deeper scratches. You will struggle to notice those scratches from more than three feet away. If you want to spend about $10 more, you can buy the quixx paint scratch remover, which in my quixx scratch remover review, you will see it does a better job with the deeper scratches.

Pros and Cons of Scratch X2.0
The biggest pro of this product is its very low price, and definitely the way that it removes all light blemishes and fine scratches with ease. It tends to burnish the paint back into its original shape, instead of rubbing it away. The only con that I could identify was the fact that the meguiars scratch remover cannot remove any more serious blemishes or scratches. It is able to conceal many of the deeper scratches if you use the product correctly.

The way that it handles any fine scratches, swirls and any other blemishes is the main reason I will keep it handy at all times.
